1. UNPACKING
A vibrating sieve cover seals the build box used and then rotates overhead in order to unpack the parts. The loose powder is extracted directly from the sieve cover without contamination and then conveyed to a recycling unit.

2. CLEANING
The unpacked parts enter a rotating basket, where the cleaning process takes place with glass bead blasts and ionized air. Users can easily program process parameters like the rotation angle, blast intensity, distance or basket rotation.
The polymer parts can be unpacked and cleaned independently from each other so that a new build box can be unpacked while the previous build job is being cleaned.
SAFETY OF THE POSTPROCESSING SYSTEM
The stainless-steel design, ATEX-compliant components and safety-monitored powder removal ensure reliable explosion protection. With SFP770, machine operators have virtually no contact with the powder. After all, combining unpacking and cleaning in one system makes the “powder-free AM factory” possible.
